Dear Thomas Hill,

I wish I had a you when I was growing up. I wish I had the strength, the courage, the balls to stand 10 toes in my truth like you did in this piece. I was so completely blown away by it that I wanted to pay tribute to it. That's what spoken word is supposed to do to you. Inspire you, frustrate you, convict you. I recommend finding this performance on YouTube from 2013.
