My dear brother, Geoffrey Orozco, transitioned unexpectedly in September 2018. We were supposed to hang out two weeks before he left the Earthly realm. I felt like complete shit at his funeral knowing I could've spent more time with him. But I let my depression and isolation take away an opportunity to be in the presence of someone who really thoroughly cared about me and loved me.

To keep from falling into a depression following his transition, I felt lead to put those feelings and emotions into music. Geoff wouldn't want me to be moping around, being sad. He'd make a really off-kilter joke that he knows is insanely corny but because of his delivery, you end up laughing. He had that power. The power to change your energy without you even knowing it. I believe it was him who spoke to me and advised me to do this beat tape. I hope you like it G. I can't begin to say how much I miss you.

My separation anxiety was explored through the 5 stages of grief throughout the beat tape. And to me it stands as the best beat tape I've released so far. I hope you enjoy it.
