I began working on In Da House, the parent album to this single, during the pandemic lockdown. Having less and less physical contact with other humans, I began to grow more isolated from everyone. It went from being a pleasure to being the most uncomfortable pain. I began making waves with the project when depression struck hard and I lost all motivation. I had been dodging my therapy sessions for months when I decided to go back and get to the bottom of my issues.

"Don't Move" was born recently after taking time to say goodbye to my grandmother and be what I needed to be for my family at the time. After getting back into therapy, I abandoned In Da House and began working on a whole other ALBUM that I decided to put on pause. The world began to open up and I didn't think it was the right time to put out heavy experimental, alternative hip hop music. The vibes were high in the city, people were looking for a dance floor. Not a public therapy session. So, here we are. I'm doing my final mixing stuff or whatever on the songs before I really get into the nitty gritty.

The "Don't Move" MAXI-SINGLE will be released to streaming platforms on September 24, 2021 with remixes and B-sides.
