about

I honestly don't even know where to begin. So I'll just be transparent. We are family, right?

I began having issues with sleeping during COVID season 1 but the anxiety around it peaked during COVID season 2. I felt lead to look into some music to help me sleep or at least calm the clutter of my mind. Sometimes, it worked. Sometimes, it didn't. Sometimes, I tossed and turned through the music until my alarm went off. I'd arise from bed frustrated, sometimes angry, sometimes sad, sometimes crying.

I stumbled onto binaural beats and eventually into river meditations. While listening to some on YouTube, I received a download from the Muses that said "Work on your own river meditation." At first, I almost completely ignored the idea altogether but I'm glad I didn't. You can even hear the rivers and waterfalls in the background on a couple tracks.

Coming up on the 1 year anniversary of Mr. Saturday Night, a binaural beats/meditation EP seems like an odd diversion. But this project has definitely helped me over the past few weeks. I decided to release this hoping it will give you some comfort, escape, peace, calm.

So, take a breather. You need it. You deserve it.

I love y'all.

S/O to Alanis Morissette for planting the seed.
